Elizabeth Savage, Science Teacher
Ms. Beth is delighted to be teaching science in her first year at Nowell Academy after working for 12 years as a science teacher in Massachusetts. She was drawn to Nowell for its student-centered and supportive approach and family-like atmosphere. Professionally, Beth's main focuses are on making high-level science concepts approachable for any student and designing equitable grading systems that prioritize student growth.
Outside of school, Ms. Beth is busy raising two small children and one small dog. She loves traveling, especially to museums and aquariums, concerts and musical theatre. When she gets a free night, she spends it crocheting alongside her husband and a good TV show.
