Sarah Laperle, Humanities Teacher Leader

Sarah Laperle is in her third year as the Humanities Teacher Leader at Nowell. She has been an educator for almost 20 years, teaching art and art history at universities and museums, and ELA and history at the high school level. 

Ms. Laperle is a lifelong learner and has earned post-secondary degrees in art, art history, psychology, religion, and teaching and learning. She is passionate about sharing her learning with others and creating a space that fosters curiosity and creativity.

Outside of school, Ms. Laperle enjoys running, hiking, swimming in the ocean, and playing board games with her two sons and husband. She also loves picking up new hobbies, such as baking, crocheting, and sewing.
