Rose Molina, School Social Worker

Rose Molina, LICSW, NCSSW is a dedicated school social worker with 18 years of experience, now serving the students of Nowell Academy. Most of her career has been spent working within the Providence School Department, where she made a significant impact as a Lead School Social Worker. Passionate about advocating for students, Rose is committed to empowering them to navigate both challenges and successes throughout their educational journey.

As one of the state’s first Nationally Certified School Social Workers, Rose is not only a leader in her field but also serves as an advisor and liaison for fellow school social workers. She shares her expertise as an adjunct professor at Providence College, teaching School Social Work, and is an active collaborator with local and state agencies to promote and advance the profession.

Fluent in both Spanish and American Sign Language, Rose is currently expanding her knowledge and skills in special education to provide even greater support to the diverse needs of students.

Outside of her professional life, Rose is a busy mom to three daughters, two dogs, and one cat. She and her family run a local small business, a family-oriented fitness gym. Rose enjoys spending quality time with friends, staying active, and exploring local dining experiences.
